On November 15, 2018, Bitcoin Cash (BCH) forked into two chains to create Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Bitcoin SV (BSV) after the Bitcoin Cash community could not agree on what its protocol should look like going forward.
As a result, Bitcoin SV forked off the Bitcoin Cash chain to start its own version of Bitcoin, one that – according to its supporters – is closer to Satoshi Nakamoto’s original vision. Hence, the name Bitcoin Satoshi Vision.
