YadaCoin’s experience forking to RandomX : Monero

RandomX is “memory hard” and requires a little more than 2GB in “fast mode.” This is PER CORE.

Correction: it’s not per core, but per memory controller, so a typical consumer CPU only needs slightly over 2 GiB to mine on all cores.

Also if you like RandomX, consider donating to the Monero development fund to help cover the costs of the audits. https://web.getmonero.org/get-started/contributing/
